Who this is for

Build on the work your team already does.

For managers responsible for people, practice and outcomes in children and family services.

What your apprentice can build towards

  • Lead a team around the needs of children and families.
  • Use evidence to improve the quality of your service.
  • Build a culture of supervision, reflection and safe practice.

How learning works

Learn it.
Use it. Reflect on it.

A plan around the role

Agree the learning schedule, coaching and review points with PEAK and your apprentice. Make space in the working week to learn and practise.

Support as skills develop

A named coach helps your apprentice connect learning to real work. Regular reviews bring the apprentice, employer and coach together.

Evidence and assessment

Build evidence of what your apprentice can do and prepare for the assessment required by the applicable standard. PEAK will explain the milestones and readiness requirements at the start.
